In the area of construction law, Mr. Lee represents developers, owners, contractors, design professionals and trades at all stages of construction, from contract formation, to the bidding process, to disputes that arise during or after construction, such as change order claims, delay claims, and defective work claims. Mr. Lee was instrumental in resolving a number of complex construction disputes involving numerous contractors, trades, suppliers, and their respective insurers, including a $10 million settlement involving a public works project.
Mr. Lee also represents various businesses in different industries, such as those in the textile, high-tech, manufacturing, import/export, banking, insurance, and financial services. With the support of specialized attorneys at his firm, he provides counseling on a wide range of topics that affect businesses such as labor and employment matters, cross-border deals, franchise and licensing agreements, trademark and copyright law, trade secret disputes, and unfair business practice claims. Mr. Lee takes great pride in offering practical, result-oriented advice to further his clients’ business objectives. While litigation is best avoided, if it becomes necessary, Mr. Lee is adept at leading a team of attorneys to effectively advance the client’s case through mediation, arbitration and/or trial.
