Justin D. Lee practices in the area of intellectual property law with an emphasis in patent prosecution, trademarks, and licensing. Mr. Lee’s technical background includes a focus on software development and internet technologies.

Mr. Lee’s patent prosecution experience includes the preparation and prosecution of domestic and international patent applications in a wide range of technologies, including consumer electronics, mobile devices, digital television, content distribution, computer animation, artificial intelligence, and wireless communication technologies.

Mr. Lee’s practice also includes a focus on representing and counseling clients in all aspects of trademark protection, including domestic and international trademark prosecution, enforcement, and monetization of brands and trademarks.

His experience also includes counseling clients on issues related to patent and trademark clearance and infringement analyses, intellectual property enforcement issues, as well as licensing and royalty agreements.

Prior to joining LHDK&W, Mr. Lee practiced as an in-house intellectual property attorney for an international sporting goods company, where he helped prosecute and manage the company’s domestic and international patent, trademark, and copyright matters. Prior to his legal career, Mr. Lee designed and developed application software for a large biotech company in the San Francisco bay area. While attending law school, Mr. Lee was a member of the Giles Sutherland Rich Memorial Moot Court team, competing in the regional competition in Boston, MA.

Mr. Lee is admitted to practice law in the State of California, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
