Joseph Koo

Joseph Koo is an associate in the Los Angeles office where he handles both transaction and litigation matters. Mr. Koo’s experience includes commercial real estate, contractual disputes, and commercial finance.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Koo worked as a Deputy District Attorney at the San Bernardino County’s District Attorney’s Office, investigating and prosecuting a wide variety of criminal matters. Mr. Koo conducted multiple jury trials and litigated on various matters including evidentiary and constitutional rights issues. During his tenure, he prepared and filed numerous substantive motions, including appellate matters.

As an Associate County Counsel at Los Angeles Office of the County Counsel, Mr. Koo further developed his trial and litigation skills by conducting more than a hundred bench trials and motion hearings.

Mr. Koo is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who has an extensive experience in drafting, analyzing, and auditing financial statements and advising clients on internal accounting and quality control matters. As a CPA, Mr. Koo also assisted clients in multiple commercial and residential real estate transactions.
