Heidy A. Nurinda is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Lee, Hong, Degerman, Kang & Waimey, where she represents clients in business litigation and intellectual property matters, with a particular focus on trademark prosecution, enforcement, and litigation.
Ms. Nurinda has experience representing businesses through all phases of litigation in state and federal courts, from pre-litigation strategy and discovery through dispositive motions, trial preparation and trial. Her litigation practice includes complex business disputes, intellectual property matters, franchise disputes and general commercial litigation.
In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Nurinda advises clients on the protection and enforcement of trademark rights. She has experience prosecuting trademark application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, including, responding to office actions, negotiating and drafting consent and co-existence agreements, and handling proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. She also represents clients in trademark, trade dress, and unfair competition disputes.
Prior to joining Lee, Hong, Degerman, Kang & Waimey, Ms. Nurinda practiced at firms in Los Angeles and Orange County, where she represented clients in a broad range of litigation matters, including, complex business, franchise, intellectual property, real estate, and commercial litigation.
Ms. Nurinda is admitted to practice law in the State of California, the United States District Courts for the, Central, Northern, Eastern, and Southern District of California.
