Michael H. Yi is Of Counsel in the firm’s Los Angeles office and a member of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency team. Mr. Yi advises individual and institutional clients regarding asset protection, debtor/creditor rights, commercial lease disputes, and business litigation matters. He has served as general bankruptcy counsel in the Central District of California representing clients across various industries, including logistics, healthcare, real estate, and restaurant and hospitality.
For the past 10 years, Mr. Yi has applied his knowledge of bankruptcy law and expertise to successfully negotiate settlements on behalf of litigants in the California state and federal courts.
Mr. Yi graduated from U.C.L.A. with a Bachelor of Science degree in applied mathematics (2000) and received his Juris Doctorate degree from San Francisco Law School (2009). He currently serves as a board member and secretary for the Korean Community Lawyers Association. He is also an active member in the Central District Consumer Bankruptcy Attorney Association and the Korean American Bar Association.
