Justin W. Fong is an associate in the firm's Newport Beach office and is a member of the corporate litigation, corporate transactional, and intellectual property groups. Mr. Fong represents and advises foreign and domestic enterprises in a broad range of corporate and business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate formation, intellectual property registration and litigation, and other corporate and business matters ranging from day-to-day business operations to the development and implementation of transactions and agreements. Mr. Fong also represents and advises clients on various matters involving commercial disputes, banking and financial services involving creditor/debtor, and commercial lending issues.

Prior to joining LHDK&W, Mr. Fong was an associate attorney with national law firms, where he represented clients in business disputes, focusing on corporate litigation and banking regulations for major financial institutions including JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. and Wells Fargo Bank, N.A.

Mr. Fong received his J.D. and M.B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law and Washington University in St. Louis Olin School of Business, where he published the article, Bringing Guns to a Gun Fight: Why the Adversarial System is Best Served by a Policy Compelling Attorneys to Ethically Mine for Metadata (7 Wash. U. Jur. Rev. 107 (2014)). Prior to attending law school, Mr. Fong graduated cum laude from the University of California, San Diego, where he received a B.A. in International Studies Economics and minor in Photography.

Mr. Fong is admitted to practice law in the State of California, and the United States District Court, Central District of California.

Mr. Fong is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Orange County Bar Association, Orange County Asian American Bar Association, Southern California Chinese Lawyers Association, Phi Beta Kappa honor society, and National Eagle Scout Association.
