gustin Medina’s practice encompasses a wide range of litigation matters, including election law matters, business litigation, entertainment industry litigation, legal and accounting malpractice defense, civil rights, construction defect and personnel related matters. Mr. Medina has completed numerous jury and court trials in federal and state courts. He has represented both private clients and public entities in litigation matters and has experience in complex, multi-district federal litigation. In addition to trial work, Mr. Medina has considerable expertise in writ and appellate practice and matters involving injunctive relief.
Mr. Medina is one of few private practitioners to be successful in securing a civil injunction against a street gang on behalf of a municipal client.
Mr. Medina serves as Counsel to the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO). He has served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Mexican American Bar Association Political Action Committee (MABA-PAC) and on the Board of Directors of the Mexican American Bar (Educational) Foundation. In addition, he serves on the auxiliary Board of Directors of the South Pasadena Educational Foundation.
Mr. Medina is admitted to practice in California, the United States District Courts, Central, Eastern and Northern Districts of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
